Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG)

Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) became mandatory in England for most new planning applications from February 2024, as per the Environment Act 2021. This requires all new applications (with a small number of exemptions) to deliver at least a 10% Net Gain in ‘biodiversity units’ - i.e. wildlife habitats. Our team of consultants can assist you in fulfilling this mandatory requirement for most developments.
